Freeport McMoran reports steady 2010 copper output

The Indonesian unit of Freeport McMoran Copper & Gold Inc (FCX.N) reports that the company expects its copper production to be steady next year.

The news release is quoted as saying:

PT Freeport Indonesia, which operates the massive Grasberg copper and gold mine in Papua, expects to produce 1.4 billion pounds of copper in 2010, unchanged from 2009.
