Supreme Resources - Copper and Gold in BC
March 22, 2010 @ 4:53 pm In uncategorized

Supreme Resources is a diversified gold and base metal exploration company focused on the 100% owned TAS Project located in the Copper Mountain Mining Camp, next-door to the past-producing porphyry copper mines. In addition, Supreme Resources also owns Ample-Goldmax property. Both projects are in British Columbia, Canada.
The TAS Project is located in the Copper Mountain Mining Camp next-door to the past-producing porphyry copper mines near Princeton, British Columbia. The TAS Project is adjacent to the Copper Mountain Mining Corporation's property (Similco Mines).

The Copper Mountain Mining Corporation property is undergoing extensive exploration for more copper-ore mineralization around the old open pits. Deeper targets have been identified by a Titan 24 geophysical survey. Drilling of the targets has intersected new copper mineralization below the old pits.
The TAS project adjoins the Copper Mountain Mining Corporation (TSX: CUM) property on its southeast claim boundary. The Copper Mountain Project has a current resource of approximately 5 billion pounds of copper and it is Copper Mountain's goal to develop the Copper Mountain Project as a mid tier copper and precious metal mine to produce approximately 100 million pounds of copper per year by mid 2011. The Camp's Main Orebody Trend (CMOT), along with the deep-Titan 24 targets, trend towards Supreme Resource's TAS claim.

The TAS Project has sixteen high priority-porphyry copper (silver-gold) exploration targets for further exploration - these have a reasonable chance for the discovery of a new Copper Mountain porphyry-type deposit.
Exploration on the 100% owned Ample-Goldmax Property since the early 1990s has established a trend of mineralized zones along the Cayoosh Creek Fault for more than 3kms, with the most promising area, the Ample-Goldmax Zone, partially defined by drill programs by Homestake Canada Inc. and Gold-Ore Resources Ltd. from 1996 to 1999. Total drilling was 5,506m in 37 drill holes, with over $1.0 million spent on exploration.

Many of the mineralized zones display visible free gold and abundant sulphide lenses, along a strike length of showings over 1km in length as reported by earlier workers. Gold grades range from trace to more than 66g/t gold in quartz veins.
