Overview

Excalibur Resources Ltd.(CNSX:XBR, FWB:X9CN ) is a junior mining company focused on the development of a 250 tpd gold-silver mine in an historic Mexican Gold District which is almost permitted and currently being installed. The unique goal of the company is to pay a dividend based on it 49% share of annual gold production of up to 20,000 ounces.

Chief Properties

Sturgeon Lake

Situated north of Ignace, Ontario, Canada, the Sturgeon Lake project is located in a well established mining region known for Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) ore deposits and gold deposits. Noranda operated six VMS deposit mines 10 to 15 km to the west, and the St. Anthony Gold Mine was located 20 km to the north. VMS deposits are known as abundant sources of gold, silver, copper, lead and zinc ores. The property, which covers 91 square kilometers, was part of a provincial government geophysical survey in the early 1990s that revealed zones of multiple sub-parallel and stacked sulphide-bearing conductors. However, past drilling on the property has been virtually non-existent. Excalibur believes this is due to minimal outcrop exposure and limited technology.

In November 2009, the Company engaged Geotech Ltd. of Aurora, Ontario, to conduct a high-resolution Versatile Time-Domain Electromagnetics (VTEM) survey of the property. The survey found a series of strong laterally extensive conductors comparable to VMS deposits with strong conductive and magnetic responses. 29 potential targets were indicated, 10 of which will be selected for drilling. The Company’s exploration program for 2010 includes 5000 meters of drilling on the most promising targets.

The Company is presently using sophisticated geochemistry on soil samples, such as the Soil Gas Hydrocarbon (SGH) technique, to identify the best drill targets. Initial SGH results have indicated the high probability of a VMS deposit.

In June 2010, the company staked a former mining lease of approximately 2 square kilometers north of the central part of its existing Sturgeon Lake property in northwestern Ontario. This claim contains an iron formation that will be explored for its gold and copper potential.

Silver King

The Silver King Mine is located about 7km south of Nelson, British Columbia. The former silver-copper mine has a long history dating back to 1880s. The region, called the Nelson gold-silver camp, has numerous skarn and vein deposits of gold, silver, copper, and an occurrence of copper-molybdenum.

The main Silver King Vein, one of several quartz filled shears on the property has been responsible for nearly all the tonnage mined to-date. No National Instrument 43-101 compliant technical reports have been completed on the Silver King Property. A number of historical resource estimates have previously been documented for the property by four independent observers between 1952 and 1983.

These reserve/resource calculations are presented in the table below *

In the fall of 2009 the Company carried out a drill program of 25 holes for a total of 2137m. The result was the discovery of a new vein called the Queen vein. Assay results from this program were similar to the high-grade ore mined in the past:

3.95m of 439 g/t silver, 0.7 g/t gold, 3.2% copper, 0.36% zinc, and 0.10% lead
1.68m of 657 g/t silver, 3.6% copper, 0.19% zinc and 0.03% lead

In December 2007, Excalibur optioned five additional claims in the area, totaling 75.7 hectares called the Cariboo property.

Excalibur’s 2010 exploration program for the Silver King Mine includes trenching the Cariboo property to identify mineralization at surface, as well as conducting a magnetic and resistivity survey to identify high resistivity alteration halos that surround the low resistivity mineralization in order to define drill targets, followed by a drill program. The Company also plans to conduct 2600m of additional drilling at Silver King to extend the high grade veins.
