The two small bombs that exploded near Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. ^[1]'s Grasberg mine did not affect the operations.

The Grasberg mine is thought to be the world's third largest copper reserve and makes up 40% of Freeport's 93 billion pounds of total copper reserves.

Freeport's Indonesian unit expects copper output at Grasberg to rise 6 percent this year to 1.2 billion pounds (544,316 tonnes) as it explores new areas in the mine in the remote province of Papua.
