TNR Gold Corp – Developing in Argentina

Overview
TNR Gold Corp. (TSX-V: TNR) is a junior mining company actively exploring a portfolio of properties in North and South America. Our primary focus in 2008 is the exploration and development of three key projects in Argentina: Eureka, El Salto, and El Tapau. We continue to explore our other properties while identifying new quality prospective projects. TNR will strengthen its assets through partnerships with mid-tier and major companies, and establish long-term revenue cash flow through royalty interests and project development.
Chief Properties
El Salto
- Copper-Gold-Molybdenum system that appears to be part of a series of porphyry systems known as the “Yellow Belt” district of San Juan.
- TNR’s 6,500m drilling program completed waiting for assays
- Readily accessible year round, has road, village of Calingastas, and river nearby
El Tapau
- Copper Gold target
- Systematic rock chip samples over an area 600 metres by 400 metres uncovered gold values as high as 19 g/t, with an average value of 2.2 g/t
- TNR has just commenced a 3,500 metres program will target where a 633 metres 5 hole historic drill study in 1995 left off at a porphyry system with copper up to 0.7% at only 150 metres
- In addition to copper targets El Tapau has gold veining and stockwork suggesting similar trend as is with the “Yellow Belt” area of San Juan which hosts the two well-known copper deposits, the El Pachon deposit (724 MT at 0.65% copper) in Argentina, and the Los Pelambres Mine (1487 MT at 0.66% copper) near the Chile-Argentine border (Falconbridge/Xstrata and Antofagasta websites).
Eureka
- The Eureka property has a geological estimate of between 50 to 60 Mt grading 1% copper (historical resource estimates, which do not comply with NI 43-101 standards) (Chapman 2007-TNR’s NI 43-101 report posted on SEDAR.COM).
- Only 70 metres of the 450 metre deep, prospective Eureka formation has been explored to date which leaves much exploration upside potential of the property.
- 10,192.34 hectare Eureka property is located in the Northwest corner of Jujuy Province in Northern Argentina, South America, near the border with Bolivia.
- TNR is looking to bring this high potential historic reserve to compliant 43-101 with drilling starting in 2008 which will help add shareholder value and solidify TNR valuations
Los Azules
- 20,000 acres located in the El Indio gold belt, San Juan Province, Argentina
- Minera Andes, principle operator of Los Azules, has been yielding great results such as 200.8 metres of 0.89% Copper
- TNR has a conditional option to repurchase a 25% interest upon completion of a feasibility study and also holds strategic land position nearby
- 24-hole 10,000 metres drilling completed for 2008, assays pending and Minera Andes CEO has stated goal of inferred resource and scoping study by Q4 2008
