Shanghai Copper climbed on strong spot prices
Shanghai copper climbed up on Wednesday, after earlier touching a four-month high, buoyed by strong spot prices.
Jane Jiang, an analyst at Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, said:
Shanghai copper futures prices were supported by strong physical prices. Spot copper has been sold at a premium since the start of the March settlement period, as more and more merchants are building up their holdings with a bullish outlook.
