Chilean Government Moves to Help Codelco

The Chilean government has passed a law to aid state-owned copper miner, Codelco, according to Mining.com. The company will receive a special contribution of US$4 billion over the next four years.

Anfield Resources Receives Conditional Approval for Shootaring Mill License Transfer

Anfield Resources (TSXV:ARY) reported that the Utah Division of Radiation Control (UDRC) has granted conditional approval for the transfer of ownership of the Shootaring Canyon Uranium Mill radioactive materials license. The UDRC has also extended the license renewal deadline to allow Anfield to prepare a license renewal application for the mill.

Copper Fox Metals Begins Resource Estimate at Van Dyke

Copper Fox Metals (TSXV:CUU) reported that Moose Mountain Technical Services has begun a resource estimate on the Van Dyke copper project. The company also reported preliminary drill results on its subsidiary Northern Fox's 42 percent investment in Carmax Mining Corp's Eaglehead project.

NGEx Resources to Acquire 100 Percent of Filo Del Sol

NGEx Resources Inc. (TSX:NGQ) has entered an agreement to purchase a 40 percent interest in the Filo del Sol project, currently held by its partner Pan Pacific Copper Co., Ltd., for a 100 percent interest in the project. Under the terms of the agreement, NGEx will pay a total cash consideration of US$7.0 million to pan pacific.
