American CuMo Mining Reports IEMR Hong Kong Litigation Developments

American CuMo Mining Corporation (TSXV:MLY,OTCQX:MLYCF) has been served with a notice of civil claim filed by International Energy & Mineral Resources Investment (Hong Kong) Company Limited, further to its news release of June 30, 2014. The company also filed a lawsuit against American CuMo and Shaun Dykes on June 17, 2014.

American CuMo Successful at Lawsuit Hearing

American CuMo Mining Corporation (TSXV:MLY,OTCQX:MLYCF) together with chief operating officer Shaun Dykes announced on Friday that Thursday afternoon, the Supreme Court of British Columbia ordered a lawsuit stayed which was brought against American Cumo and Mr. Dykes by IEMR Hong Kong on June 17, 2014. On Thursday, IEMR(HK) published a news release which stated that the lawsuit was "ongoing", even though the lawsuit was stayed by the Court. IEMR(HK) first attempted to delay Mr. Dykes' application on Thursday through a preliminary request to adjourn it for some unspecified period of time. However, the Supreme Court dismissed IEMR(HK)'s application for a delay.

Copper Fox Metals’ Van Dyke Drilling Program Completed

Copper Fox Metals Inc. (TSXV:CUU) and wholly owned subsidiary Desert Fox Copper Inc. announced the completion of the verification drilling program at the Van Dyke copper project in Arizona. Highlights include intersection of broad intervals of copper oxide and copper carbonate minerals in all holes, with two of the drill holes hitting weak quartz veinlet hosted chalcopyrite+/-molybdenite mineralization below the oxide copper mineralization.

EPA Wants to Stop Northern Dynasty Minerals’s Copper and Gold Mine, Alaska

The National Journal reported that the United States Environmental Protection Agency won't allow a large copper and gold mine to be built near Alaska's Bristol Bay. The Pebble Partnership, who wants to develop the mine and is 100 percent owned by Northern Dynasty Minerals (TSX:NDM) spoke against action taken by the EPA through its draft Clean Water Act on Friday, according to the publication. The developers have yet to submit their formal application and development plan.
