StoneShield Signs Letter of Intent for Cumaral Project

StoneShield Capital Corp. (TSX VENTURE:STS) reported today that the Company signed a Letter of Intent pursuant to which StoneShield has been granted an option to earn a 100% interest the CumarĂ¡l gold/copper porphyry project located in the Sonora State, Mexico.

Copper hits 14-month high

On Wednesday, Copper rallied to its highest level in 14 months. The dollar continues to fell and the equity market bounced back.

Chile's Codelco raises term premiums

On Monday, Chile based Codelco [CODEL.UL] has raised term premiums for refined copper. For delivery to China in 2010 it has been revised by $10 per tonne to $85 per tonne. For shipments to South Korea and Japan for next year has also been raised by $10.
