Katanga Cuts Congo Copper production forecast

Katanga Mining reduced its output forecast due to low worker-productivity and the time needed to upgrade a processing plant. Southern Copper reduces 2008 copper output forecast

Southern Copper reported that it expects to produce 550,000 tonnes of copper in 2008, less than an earlier forecast of 650,000 tonnes.
