Nevada Copper Corp. (TSX:NCU) shared an update on the hearing of the House of Representatives Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands held in Washington, DC on April 17th.

Nevada Copper Corp. (TSX:NCU) reported that the latest holes drilled in the open-pittable Western deposits have intersected new mineralization within or just outside the outside the current NI 43-101 Feasibility Study ultimate pit limits.

Nevada Copper Corp.(TSX:NCU) announced positive new drill results from its Pumpkin Hollow project, Nevada. Six holes have recently been completed at the north deposit of the project and reported intersections of 9.08% copper. Three rigs are currently in operation at the project and the drill program is ongoing.

Additional positive step-out drill results from the Nevada Copper Corp. (TSX:NCU) 100% owned Pumpkin Hollow Property in Yerington, Nevada include multiple zones of mineralization along the east and south edges of the North deposit, as well as between the North and South deposits.

Nevada Copper Corp.(TSX:NCU) announced the appointment of Mr.Victor Bradley to its board this morning. Mr.Bradley has over twenty five years experience in the mining industry working with companies such as Osisko. Nevada Copper also announced the launch of its new project website on February 16, 2012. Nevada Copper expect to release an updated feasibility study by Q3 2012.

Nevada Copper Corp.(TSX:NCU) announced that it will be sinking an underground shaft at its Pumpkin Hollow project. The Company hope that this will create employment for up to 800 people at the project. Nevada Copper also announced the completion of a Feasibility Study in January 2012.
